So, are you looking for work? Do you want work that's cheap, easy and about as flexible as the contortionist I've just seen on Britain's Got Talent!?

Well, take my advice right now and stop reading this, so you can go check out the wonderful income opportunities that are to be found by doing online surveys. If you're still reading this, then you obviously need more convincing, so that's what I'll try to do in the next few paragraphs. That is, tell you exactly what I mean by the words – cheap, easy and flexible.

CHEAP

When I say cheap I'm talking mainly about costs that aren’t necessarily considered when choosing a job, but can make or break its worth in terms of financial stability. There's virtually no risk to you—there'll always be surveys to do online (at least I don’t see the Internet going away very soon, do you?) and you'll never be fired (after all, you have an opinion and that's all you have to have). There is little start-up cost, (a computer and the Internet, which if you're really skint at first you can use for free at most libraries). No travel costs and the work is very portable. And pyjamas are pretty cheap aren’t they?

EASY

When you do online surveys for cash, all you need is an opinion. That's about as easy as it gets right, because opinions can’t be graded or evaluated and they can’t be wrong. You just need to think about how you feel about different things and that's not hard for most people. The other part is that you need to be able to read and write, which you've already proven you're capable of by getting this far in this blockbusting article.

FLEXIBLE

Already touched on this, but let me expand. If you're awake you can go to work (only when you have to or feel like it). You can work 20 hrs two days per week if you want and have worked full-time. Another way to make money with paid surveys is to get involved with offers and surveys that promote specific products or services. These are called “Get Paid To” or GPT sites. GPT sites feature market research and offers for products and services.

This will make your income go up as much as $1,000 a month. If you take advantage of multiple sites and sign up for offers.

However, these sites may require you to use your credit card for some of the offers. There are times when you're asked to buy something to get paid. You'll need to keep track of the products or services you've signed up for and make sure you cancel any free trials you don't want to keep when the trial period is over.

You really need to keep track of when you signed up for these free trials so that you won't end up paying for something you do not want.

Be aware that by visiting and using these sites you will get marketing phone calls, mail, and, email. If you shop online these sites can save you a good deal of money and supplement your income as well. There are ways for you to cut some of the privacy factors as well.

The decision on which way you wish to make money online is up to you. Try the different types of making money to see which ones you prefer.

All paid for survey, and GPT sites are free to join, so you have nothing to lose by trying them. I have never paid for a list so I don’t know if they have a different list than the free lists. That would be a personal choice too, but I would try all of the free lists before I thought about paying for a list.

The paid survey sites that you think might be best for you, may not be the best for someone else. A great deal will depend on the profile you fill out and the type of surveys they're offering.

A survey about cell-phones won't be sent to you – if you haven't stated that you own one on your profile. Age and gender will also be a factor in the surveys that are sent to you. You wouldn’t ask a man to do a survey on a new type of bra, just as you wouldn’t send a survey about left-handed jockstraps to a woman. (I think you get the idea).

You have to be honest when dealing with paid survey companies, because if you're found to be telling untruths then you'll be kicked off the site pronto and this will cut down on your income from paid surveys. Besides, it's better to stick with things you know a bit about, as it will be obvious when you're taking the surveys. You'll see what I mean once you start.

Tip: Only sign up once for a paid survey site. Having more than one account is reason for removal from the site.

If you followed my tip on signing up for as many survey sites as possible, it will give you more opportunities because…

1. There's a greater chance you'll find top paid survey sites that are compatible with your profile.

Before you start partaking in free paid surveys there are a few things you need to do.

The first is to find the best survey sites to sign up with. Don't forget, you're doing this to make money, so you want to sign up with the sites that will pay you per survey. The reason I say this is because there are many survey sites out there that only reward you with chances to win prizes and cash in a draw and these sites are not the ones you want.

There are directories with information on survey sites that pay you cold hard cash for participating in their programs. The Starter Directory is one place to check out, but you need to know that these sites send out more invitations than others.

Okay, here are some great tips to set you on your way…

1) You want an email account set up specifically for your paid surveys. This will help you keep track of your business and you won't need to sift through other mail to find a survey. Gmail or Yahoo are both good and free.

2) Once you have your email address, you should download the Roboform program. They offer a free trial and you can enter all of your information where it will be stored.
